Stainless steel maintenance

Does the Stainless steel parts needs maintenance?

Answer: The metalwork of the heaters/stoves and its components are made entirely of stainless steel. Type 304.
The most majority stainless steel alloys are not rust proof, only resistant to corrosion. Stainless steels will still corrode and rust in damp or chemically rich environments unless they are maintained.
Customer would have to keep an eye and clean any surface rust before it gets out of hand. The rust will spread and after a while it will begin to gain a foothold within the steel itself after which it is almost impossible to reverse. To clean surface rust we recommend a product scotch-brite pads, which can be rubbed in the direction of the grain on the metal to eliminate surface rust.
